Rolex launched the watch many have been waiting patiently for: the Sea-Dweller 4000 with ceramic bezel! The perfect watch for collectors who want a little more than the Submariner and a little less than the Deepsea (as well as those wanting a date without a cyclops magnifying lens). The new 40mm Sea-Dweller is equipped with a helium escape valve (patented in 1967 by Rolex) allowing for a water-resistance of 4,000ft or 1,220m. Rolex really did a great job listening to their customers this Baselworld! Price: $10,400 USD Update: Just 3 years after the release of the Sea-Dweller you see here, Rolex put out a new model. Read our comparison post about the two watches here.
