About the Movement:
TMI/SII (Seiko) caliber NH38A
For all intents and purposes, the TMI (Time Module Inc.) / SII (Seiko Instruments) caliber NH38A is the no-date version of one of the most popular automatic watch movements in the world: the NH35A. Before the NH38A was introduced, NH35A powered microbrand watches would have a phantom date position - this is when the dial of the watch does not have a calendar window, but the watch still has a date setting mode (second click of the crown). The NH38A gives you the solid workhorse performance of the NH series, but with a clean 3-hands look.
