In celebration of this week’s full moon, we thought it would be fun to turn a Moonwatch into a moon. Here’s an Omega Speedmaster you don’t get to see every day: the White Side of the Moon.
This automatic Speedy is packed with an in-house Co-Axial caliber 9300, wrapped with a 44.5mm brushed and polished white ceramic case with ceramic crown and pushers.
The bezel is also ceramic with a matte chromium nitride tachymeter number scale. Proof that Omega is just as competent in making things sound complicated as Rolex.
The dial is made from white zirconium oxide ceramic, with 18k white gold hands and markers. The only color you get on this watch is the red Speedmaster logo and the tip of the central second hand.
This watch is bold and bright, like a 100% illuminated full moon on the wrist. If the point at which a real full moon occurs can be measured down to a fraction of a second, then this is the chronograph timepiece for the job. #speedytuesday
