The Ingersoll Bison No. 21 Buffalo Chronograph is a limited edition watch. Ingersoll calls all of their watches limited edition, although they are not numbered. This piece is model number IN1615BBK (aka 1615BBK) and it is a rare find in the Ingersoll line because it is a real chronograph. Ingersoll has many watches with two pushers on the side and 2 to 3 subdials on the dial, and while they may look like chronographs from a distance, the subdials and pushers on their watches are usually used for a triple date calendar function – day, date, month, and sometimes even they year.

The movement inside is what Ingersoll calls the caliber IN 886 (or just 886). It is an automatic movement, made in China with 35 jewels. The 46mm diameter case is stainless steel with a black PVD coating. It measures 51mm including the crown. This piece sits about 17mm tall on the wrist and weighs in at 148 grams / 5.2 ounces.

The black dial has white hands and legible Arabic hour markers, with a day/date window at 3:00. Above that is a flat mineral crystal. The 22m lug-width strap is sporty black leather with a red stitching that matches the central chronograph hand. The screw-down crown helps the Buffalo 21 get a depth rating of 200m/660ft.

When this video was uploaded, this watch retailed for $1,020 USD. It was brand new and featured in the KeepTheTime watch store but has since been sold.
