Zahnd & Kormann is a micro-brand watch company based in Liebefeld, Switzerland. They originally launched on Kickstarter with the mission to offer quality Swiss made automatic watches for the best price possible. 144 backers joined the cause and the campaign was a success for the brand.
ZK N° 1 – Lunar Eclipse
They call it the Lunar Eclipse because of the silver moon-like reverse panda subdials against the deep black background. The real moonphase indicator also fits the lunar theme.
The ZK1 is a limited edition with only 300 made. It was part of the first round of timepieces from the brand. This model is sold-out and no longer available from the manufacturer. Zahnd & Kormann has re-released the ZK1 as the larger 44mm ZK1.2 with a retail price of $2,250 USD. The new version is not available in the desirable reverse panda configuration seen here.
7751 Triple-Date
The ETA 7751 is a full calendar automatic movement with the day of the week and month at 12:00, 24 hour dial at 9:00, a moonphase at 6:00, and a central date hand. The chronograph times in 60 second, 30 minute, and 12 hour intervals.
