“During the course of our research into the Sceptre’s predecessor, the Astro, we found ourselves neck-deep in the history of the Cold War, and the tales of subterfuge, espionage and technological advancement that were part of this simmering conflict between the superpowers that remained after World War II. The concept of the October takes the soviet arm of this conflict and applies the aesthetic influence from the submarines of that era, as well as referencing the overall aesthetic of concrete, steel and brutalist architecture.” –Marloe
