Sporty Meets Dressy: The Baume & Mercier Formula S is a classic 1990s sport chronograph, and although it doesn’t pop up very often on the used watch market, it has a lot to offer in terms of style and robustness. With the Formula S, you get a powerhouse Swiss made caliber 7750 automatic chronograph movement, swivel lugs (for ultimate comfort) with an adjustable strap hooked up to a deployment clasp, along with fancy Baume logo (Mercedes who?) hands against a matte black dial with concentric subdials. That’s a mouthful, but with this timepiece you get a wristful, especially at sub $1,000 – and especially with the watch for sale on this page… did we mention the strap is brand new and unworn? The strap has a pebble texture (matching the texture on the box), made in Austria and was ordered directly from Baume et Mercier to be freshly installed for you as pictured. You might be able to find a private seller dumping a Formula S at a lower price, but not this clean with a new strap plus the original box and papers!

Includes: Original Baume et Mercier Formula S box and papers (clam shell case, paperwork (open papers not filled out by the original AD), distributors paper, leather papers holder). The original watch holder wasn’t there, so there’s a piece of sponge in place of it.

Condition: Very good overall. The chronograph starts, stops and resets as it should. The date flips when it should. The crystal has multiple scratches and blemishes but it is not chipped. The bezel is very nice with the tachymeter scale intact. The strap is brand new and unworn.
