Seiko SKXA35 VS Omega Planet Ocean | LUME WARS! #18 ⌚️💡 🔦 (youtube link)
In this episode of #LUMEWARS by KeepTheTime, we put a Seiko Scuba Diver SKXA35 face to face against an Omega Planet Ocean XL.
Both are automatics, both are divers, both have impressive lume.
Seiko of course is using their own branded LumiBrite (all about LumiBrite here: keepthetime.com…). The Planet Ocean watch is using SuperLuminova.
Both are products of “Luminova” but licensed to the respective companies. Pro Tip: When you see Super-Luminova just keep i mind that it’s the same material, but Swiss made. Just remember the S in Super is like the S in Swiss lol.
The Seiko is 42mm diameter and the Omega is 45.5mm, but you can see the Planet Ocean has a lot more lume real estate! The Seiko has a bright yellow dial, so the lume reflects off the dial.
If you like Planet Ocean check out this PO model comparison post we did on the blog: www.keepthetime.com…
