The Uhuru Impi is the result of a successful crowdfunded Kickstarter project by Nick Warner. The microbrand brand is based out of South Africa and is inspired by Zulu warriors – more on that below. The cool factor of this watch is the double crown design. The screw-down crown at 3:00 is for winding and setting, the crown at 9:00 is used to operate the internal rotating bezel.
