Vintage Citizen 800m Diver

Perhaps what was a bold answer to the Seiko Tuna Can, you’re looking at one of the most desirable Citizen watches: The 800m Pro Diver. This piece is from circa 1991 based on the serial number. These are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially in the condition this one is in. The bezel has the proper locking flex to it and clicks the way it should. Can’t beat the titanium case on the 48mm diver, and it looks great on the army green strap.

Additional Details:

  • Reference: 5503-F50212 TA
  • Serial Number: 1090XX
  • Movement: Quartz / made in Japan
  • Caliber: Citizen 5503
  • Titanium case
  • Diameter: 48mm
  • Lug to Lug: 46mm
  • Thickness: 15mm
  • Uni-directional rotating bezel with locking mechanism (push in to rotate)
  • Green aftermarket NATO style strap
  • Mineral crystal
  • Screw-down crown
  • Retail Price: Discontinued

Includes: Watch only

Condition: Very good overall. Case and bezel are excellent for the age. The caseback has some marks from the previous owner changing the battery, nothing major. The bezel clicks as it should. The crystal has some very tiny blemishes that you may not notice unless pointed out. The strap is new and unworn.

Can you show it on a wrist? I want to make sure it isn’t too big before I decide. Thanks.

Why KTT?

Quality Over Quantity

For over 10 years we have built our business on providing friendly service, a beautiful website, in-depth information and detailed videos. We deal in watches that you usually won't find together in the same place - from Rolex to Invicta and modern microbrands to antique pocket watches. Check back often, you never know what you will find!

Why Ktt Specs

Watch You See Is Watch You Get

Since the beginning, KeepTheTime has refused to use stock photos. After passing through our logging and inspection process, our in-house photographer gets up close and personal with each watch. After the photoshoot, we begin our research, verifying the detailed specs by hand. That's why you will know exactly what you are getting when buy from us.

Why Ktt Photos

Ready to Wear

Some watch dealers don't bother to clean the used watches they sell... you can see the dirt and grime in their pics, gross! At KTT, we're unabashed germophobes. That's why we thoroughly sanitize every watch before we even begin posting it, then once again before shipping. Your watch will arrive clean and ready to wear!

Why Ktt Clean

Second To None Packing + Shipping

One of our favorite customer comments is that KeepTheTime is the Brinks Truck of shipping watches. We take packing very seriously, from the use of biodegradable peanuts (pet friendly!) to absurd amounts of packing tape, you can rest assured that your new-to-you watch will arrive safely. Some of our competitors ship within 1-2 weeks because they take your money first then try to source the watch second. KeepTheTime watches are in stock and ready to ship. That means we can get your order on its way within hours not days.

Our Other Project

Spreading movement awareness. When we’re not filming, reviewing and trading watches, we’re building a community for enthusiasts to geek out about what makes their timepieces tick. Caliber Corner is a movement database and forum for collectors who want to learn about watches, not just wear them. Join the movement.
