Here is a fun, affordable (also rare and hard to find for hardcore Invicta collectors) watch that let’s you imagine what it would be like if the Submariner was made into a chronograph. And you don’t like chronographs, don’t worry! This Invicta Series 11 looks like a chrono, but is actually a tricompax calendar with a day/date (day at 9:00, date at 3:00) and an independently set 24 hour hand (6:00) for tracking a second time zone. This timepiece is quite solid compared to recent Invictas. Pierced lugs with screwbars! What!?
Detailed Specs:
- Reference: 3787
- Movement: Swiss parts quartz
- Caliber: ISA 9238
- Case Material: Stainless steel
- Diameter: 40mm (bezel), 44mm (with the crown)
- Thickness: 11mm
- Lug-to-Lug: 46.5mm
- Dial: Blueish mother of pearl
- Bezel: Uni-directional rotating
- Crystal: Scratch-resistant sapphire
- Band: Stainless steel bracelet with gold plated center links
- Lug-Width: 20mm
- Crown: Screw-down
- Exhibition style caseback
- Water Resistant up to 100m/330ft
- Retail Price: NA, discontinued
Includes: Watch only. No box, no papers.
Condition: Very good. Not bad considering its age. There are signs of wear on the bracelet and case. Everything functions as it should. The bezel rotates and clicks. The pushers work as they should. The crystal is excellent. The bracelet was sized to fit up to a 7.5″ wrist with no extra links, but the watch would look great on one of our 20mm KTT military straps.
