Watch Winders – The New Personal Trainer!
Why should you invest in a watch winder? Simply, a watch winder is like a personal trainer, it keeps your timepiece in great shape! It makes sense right! You spend a lot of money on a Rolex, you want your investment to be sound for the long haul.
The function of the automatic watch winder is to keep your watch wound when not in use. It keeps the parts lubricated and moving but at the same time prevents watches from being over-worked. We recommend that you use a watch winder every time that you don’t wear it. Like your body, you should exercise your watch consistently. Thirty minutes a day is sufficient. Sounds like working out right!
We also encourage you to check out Orbia, Eilux, and Wolf Designs watchwinders. For those of you who haven’t invested in a high quality watch winder yet, KeepTheTime’s Watch of the Week Holiday Offer includes a free deluxe Montblanc watch winder with the purchase of the Montblanc Timewalker.
Make it your New Year’s Resolution to purchase one. This is a resolution that is easily achieved and you only have to do once! On the other hand, working out at the gym is harder to keep up with.
Gut shot! Planet Ocean 45MM

Ok, you forked out the $3700.00 bucks or so and you heard all the hype from the sales guy on Co-axilsomething? Is it worth the salt? I think so, the Planet Ocean 45mm comes in a couple different dial combinations and is a good looking timepiece for the sport guy. The Balance may be a bit hyped, but the watch as a whole is under $4000.00 still! Omega put all the chips in on the balance for the future, so they want it to be running smooth. The first couple batches were, well OK.(some came back for service) now it is pretty smooth and looks great pressed in the 2892-a2 movement. Case back and construction, look sweet, and it sits on the wrist like a dream. I would shell the money on this one, before you see another, don’t say it, price increase. KTTB
Gut Shot! “Rolex 3135″

The Honored 3135 Rolex Movement!
I have always been biased when it comes to the Rolex watch. Some find it anti-establishment to collect other fine timepieces, shunning the King of the automatic watch. Ahh, I love them, I wear the 3135 daily on a Datejust and find this special movement to be the best made value in the business. I don’t have to kick and scream much about it, it is the undisputed champ of longevity and class. If your choice is Submariner, Yachtmaster or Datejust you will be treated with this special movement for years of long wear. The Bi-directional rotor, the simple and solid construction make it practical and semi-affordable. Enjoy! KTTB

The Red always makes the peak special!
