Marathon SAR

This is a Marathon SAR, Search and Rescue Diver’s watch. Model WW194006 from May 2006, NSN 6645215580133. It has an automatic movement powered by a Caliber ETA 2824 with 25 Jewels, housed in a solid 316L stainless steel case. The regular SAR is a bit smaller than the JSAR (Jumbo SAR) and measures 41mm diameter with a 14mm thickness. The matte black dial has a date window at 3:00. The standard issue Marathon rubber strap is soft and comfortable and measures 20mm wide at the lugs. This set also included the Marathon stainless steel bracelet. The flat sapphire crystal has a “cyclops” lens over the date window. This watch is water resistant up to 300m and is equipped with a screw-down crown.
