Liking puzzles, a friend asked me to research their pocketwatch. I found out it’s a fusee. I also know: sidewinder, 49mm diameter by 15.75mm thick, both covers stamped on the inside, center: J & C, under that is a small round stamped logo that appears to be an eagle, and below that is the number 17407. Hand scribed on the inside back cover in two different areas is th enumber 6281W, and 1893 2211K and below that in script Yebz 28/57. The face has raised Roman numerals and is both machine and hand engraved: a hand engraved scene in the center depicting a village with houses, a tall steepled church, a river, trees, a birdge and a man. There are two keeys. There is no crystal. ANy idea who made this watch? Please use “watch” in the subject line when emailing a response. Thx!
