Common misconceptions would be it is an investment. It really is not! Some watches hold value better than others, still if you want a nice, watch pick it from a desire. Many great brands are out there, where do you start? Pick your price point, style and then brand. Finally research the hell out of it to make sure the movement, case, crystal, etc. are what you would expect it to be.
